What to Include in an Event
Venue Checklist
Compare venues with one clear framework so atmosphere, capacity and operational details receive equal attention.
A polished tour can make every venue feel possible. A written checklist helps you compare what matters after the first impression: usable capacity, service inclusions, production readiness, guest access and the people responsible for execution.
The most useful question is not simply ‘Is it included?’ but ‘How will it work for this event?’
Space
Compare capacity in your actual layout
Ask for capacity with your stage, dance floor, audiovisual footprint, service stations and preferred table style included. Maximum occupancy alone rarely describes the usable room.
Service
Understand what the venue team owns
Clarify catering, rentals, setup windows, event management, security, cleanup and vendor responsibilities. Written responsibilities prevent assumptions from becoming last-minute costs.
Access
Walk the venue as a guest and vendor
Review parking, accessibility, loading routes, hotel access and arrival signage. The behind-the-scenes path matters just as much as the entrance guests see.
